Please note: We have a firm no kids policy due to the open loft and stairs.

Other Details to Note

The Spring Hill House is located in a remote location. The final approach to the property is via a well-maintained dirt road, though it can be challenging to navigate during certain conditions. In winter, we suggest having a vehicle with 4WD or all-wheel drive and snow tires. During mud season (early March to early April), roads can become muddy due to melting snow and thawing ground. During this time, we highly recommend using a vehicle with 4WD or all-wheel drive. We work very hard to provide our guests with a 5-star experience. If anything is even slightly off during your stay, be sure to reach out right away so we can resolve the issue.

We really enjoyed our stay and were absolutely blown away by the view, especially during the peak fall foliage. The craftsmanship inside the home was truly magnificent - it gave a rustic, cathedral-like experience. The home had all the basics that we needed. The deck with the fireplace table was the perfect addition to a cozy experience. Phenomenal grill, incredible aesthetic, comfortable beds, and a wonderful host! We will definitely be back.

The cabin is absolutely everything we wanted for our stay in Vermont—beautiful, quiet, and nearby to many local attractions. We enjoyed staying in and relaxing just as much as we enjoyed going out and exploring. Paul is a wonderful, helpful host, and we can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Beware…when staying at this beautiful home all your plans of exploring Vermont will be thrown out of the window because you will feel compelled not to leave this beautiful space. I made meals in the well appointed kitchen, walked the beautiful property, did puzzles while taking in the beautiful views…if only I could have stayed longer. Will definitely need to return.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at the end of a week of driving round Vermont. After some adventuring we were looking forward to some rest and relaxation and this was the perfect place to do it. The view from the cabin is absolutely gorgeous, and we wish we’d booked for longer because it was just such a lovely stay. We saw deer on one evening which was amazing! It has a lovely kitchen with all utensils and fixtures (eg coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher) as well as seasonings, oil, and a few condiments too. We didn’t plan to drive at all once we arrived, so we came prepared with groceries and had a great time cooking! Both beds were cosy and comfortable, with plenty of covers/blankets to keep warm. The living room was also really cosy, and the adjustable lighting on the lamps (done via the ipad). Highly recommend!

Paul’s place is beautiful for a relaxing weekend in. The house is pristine, the grounds are lush, the amenities are plenty and the location is central to Burlington, Stowe and Montpelier! Overall, the house is perfect for a getaway. I will definitely stay here again!
